Sharing Care So People Can Keep Caring
Care doesn’t pause when life gets complicated. It continues through hospital discharges with no plan. Through nights of medication, feeding, and monitoring. Through forms that don’t make sense, appointments that pile up, and decisions that feel so complicated.
Unpaid carers hold everything together. They organise care, manage medication, chase appointments, and make decisions throughout day and night.
We Care London is a boutique-style carers’ charity, designed to be accessible and
responsive to the people we support. Our trustees came into this work while caring for family members and neighbours whose needs were falling between services.
What began as practical support became structured, accountable work that remains rooted in real life. Close enough to understand context. Responsive enough to act quickly. Structured enough to remain accountable.
We recognised early on that unpaid does not mean unskilled. Carers are already doing complex, skilled work every day. We step in where the strain starts to outweigh what one person can carry.
Whatever it is, We Care makes it manageable
